Mom friendships are complicated, messy and tough. In this 3-part series of She Just Glows: The Podcast, I’m tackling this touchy topic head-on.
Listen now on Apple, Spotify or where ever you listen to podcasts.

Do you ever feel like there must be something wrong with you because you don’t have close mom friends?
Or, you find them and they move away?
Or, you find them and the husbands don’t like each other?
Or, you find them and the husbands love each other but you just don’t connect?
Or, you find them and they parent differently than you?
Or, you find them and their kids are brats? *wink*
You’re not alone.
Mom friendships are hard, and oftentimes, they don’t work out. There are several reasons for that.
First, life is more complicated than it used to be. It’s not just: “Do you like this woman? Yes or no?” like it used to be. Now, there are many more people involved!
Now, there are a bunch of other boxes that need to be checked for this to be a lasting, all-in friendship.
Do the husbands like each other?
Do you parent similarly?
Do you have the same core values?
Do your kids get along?
Do you live near each other?
There are also lots of times friendships fall apart. It can be painful and debilitating. I’ve dealt with that personally. And it hurts a lot.
But what if you could approach your mom friendships in a different way?
What if you could be the exact friend you want to attract?
Let go of the desire to have the comfort of a close friend. Maybe there’s a really great reason you don’t.
Let go. And simply be the friend you want to have.
